Is the labor priced right?
450 crew-hours (figured from the crew and days below) · labor $16,800.00 · $37 per crew-hour · about 3% gross margin
Labor works out to $37 per crew-hour (450 crew-hours). Below $65 a crew-hour the work doesn't pay for the crew, truck, insurance and your time. At $72 labor would be about $32,400.
Estimated gross margin is 3% (after materials, subs and crew time at $43 an hour). The goal is 30%.
Materials markup is 25%. At 43% you'd keep about a 30% margin on materials after overhead.

Other items paid up front with the first payment (optional):

The rest of labor is split evenly across the phases. Materials and windows & doors are due with the first payment.

Wording and payments

Payment groups: leave empty for one payment per phase with 10% of labor up front and 10% at the end (the Whitcomb way). Or list which phases each payment covers, like 1-3; 4; 5-7: labor is split in equal shares, one with the first payment and one per group, with materials in the first. Add + dumpster to a group to bill the dump fee with it.
