SCOPE OF WORK / ESTIMATE

PROJECT
Remove the wall between kitchen and dining room, add a beam, new cabinets, butcher-block counters and open shelves.
LABOR
PHASE 1 — LAYOUT AND ORDERING
- 1. Measure and confirm the cabinet layout.
- 2. Order cabinets and counters.
PHASE 2 — PROTECTION AND DEMOLITION
- 3. Protect floors and doorways.
- 4. Remove old cabinets and the wall.
PHASE 3 — BEAM AND FRAMING
- 5. Install temporary supports.
- 6. Set the new beam and posts.
PHASE 4 — ROUGH ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING
- 7. Move the sink line.
- 8. Add under-cabinet lighting circuits.
PHASE 5 — CABINETS AND COUNTERS
- 9. Hang wall and base cabinets.
- 10. Install butcher-block counters and shelves.
PHASE 6 — FINISH AND WALKTHROUGH
- 11. Paint, trim and touch-up.
- 12. Walk through the finished kitchen with the client.
SCHEDULE / CREW
Business days on site: 4-5 weeks on site, Monday-Friday.
Crew: 1 general contractor, 1 carpenter, 1 helper part-time
